Delete your Qiva account

You can delete your Qiva account and everything in it at any time.

In the app

Open Qiva, go to You, open Settings, and choose Delete account, then confirm. Your account is deleted right away. This cannot be undone.

By email

If you cannot open the app, write to hello@qiva.me from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request is yours and finish the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your account and email address, your handle, your entries, replies, and voice memos, your cast and its real names, your messages, felts, follows, blocks, Insights, writer's line, notifications, and push tokens.

What we may keep

Records we must keep by law, to resolve disputes, or for safety, such as reports made about content and the log of authorship lookups. Replies other people wrote on your entries are deleted with your entries.
